Haunted Pirate Ship Mast
Makes one 32” tall mast
Materials:
- Wooden Base with ⅜” drilled hole in the center
- 2 – ⅜” x 36” dowels
- Spray paint (optional)
- Jute
- Black cheesecloth, 72” x 24”
Instructions:
- Cut dowels into 3 pieces: 32”, 22”, 13”. Spray paint, if desired.
Place the 32” dowel in the base. If you do not have a wooden base, you can use a small bucket filled with sand. If you opt to use a bucket of sand, you may want to leave the dowel the full length.
Using jute, tie the 22” piece horizontally about 20” from the top. Then tie the 13” piece horizontally 9” from the top.
Cut cheesecloth into 3 lengths: 8”, 24” and 40”. Drape the longest piece over the bottom dowel and the medium piece over the upper dowel, and the small piece on top.
