We’re going bats! Mickey Bat is ready for a hauntingly fun Halloween party so we’ve whipped up an easy batch of Mickey Bat Oreo cookies. Make these easy treats in just minutes
These treats were served on our Mickey Ghost Halloween party but would also be a fun treat for any Halloween party.
Mickey Bat Oreo Cookies
Makes 10 Cookies
Ingredients:
- 20 Oreo Cookies
- 20 Black Candy Melts
- 20 Candy Eyes
- Black Writing Gel
Instructions:
- Carefully untwist Oreos. Leave frosting on one cookie round and scrape the other round clean. For this recipe you will need 20 halves with frosting and 10 halves without frosting. Lay your frosted rounds on a work surface frosting side up. Carefully snap the 10 unfrosted rounds into halves. These will serve as the bat’s wings.
2. Take 2 of the wings and press the tips into the frosting (see photo below). Next place two black candy melts onto the top of the cookie round securing the bottom edge in the frosting. Place a second frosted round over the top and press on the Oreo to help the ears and wings stay in place.
3. To finish the Mickey Bats, place a small amount of black writing gel on the back side of two candy eyes. Place on the cookie for Mickey Bat’s eyes. Repeat until all cookies are complete.
