The Disney Villains are devilishly delightful! Create an unforgetable Disney Villains Dinner party with our full menu, all the recipes, tablescape & decor ideas, and fun activities.
Decor & Tablescape
We created a dark and creepy mood with purple lighting, spider webs, and lots of candles. We dressed the table in a simple white tablecloth and layered it with black spiderweb lace and a purple crushed velvet table runner.
We set the table with china, vintage silver, and purple satin napkins with jeweled napkin rings in the villains’ trademark colors of black, purple, and green.
We created the napkin rings from a set of jeweled charms by Hildi and Jo. Unfortunately they’re no longer available. This set of black jeweled spider napkin rings is fabulous and would look perfect with the black spider web lace tablecloth.
We used two antique silver candelabras and an antique crystal pedestal bowl of grapes {with some spiders} on the table to create a creepy antique dining room look.
Some of the desserts were displayed on our buffet: Disney Villains cupcakes representing Cruella De Vil, Captain Hook, the Evil Queen, and the Queen of Hearts as well as some of the Evil Queen’s poisoned apples. We added more candles and a framed Pick Your Poison decorative print.
The Menu
We had a great time creating the menu for this Disney Villain’s dinner. Each dish is inspired by one of the Villains. All the details and recipes are linked below.
Maleficent's Sip of Slumber
Maleficent’s Sip of Slumber is a simple and refreshing lime spritzer. Add purple sanding sugar and fondant horns to the rim to give it a delightfully devilish vibe. Get our delicious drink recipe here.
Hades' Inferno tomato Soup
Jafar's Snake Breadsticks
Our first course was Hades’ Inferno Tomato Soup with Jafar’s Snake Breadsticks. The soup was delicious but not too spicy. You could easily adjust this to your tastes if you prefer more spice. Get the tomato soup recipe from Food Network here.
The breadsticks from Country Living were cute and very fun to eat. They are made from puff pastry dough so they were also quite simple to make. Get the recipe here.
Gaston's Pumpkin Ravioli
Yzma's Blackberry & Blue Cheese Salad
Disney Villains Cupcakes
Dessert was our favorite part of the meal and for good reason! We served Disney Villains themed red velvet cupcakes. Each cupcake represented a different Villain: Captain Hook, The Queen of Hearts, The Evil Queen, and Cruella De Vil.
the Evil Queen's Poison Apples
Making these poison apples is a magical process. The candy coating hardens within seconds revealing gorgeous glistening apples. They can be dyed any color depending on your theme. Get our recipe and tutorial here.
Ursula's Magical Mousse
This creamy and rich chocolate mousse gets a dose of magic when served in a cauldron and topped with rich purple buttercream, pearls, and stars. Get the chocolate mousse recipe here. We served the mousse in mini plastic cauldrons which was so much fun!
