2. Cook some Venezuelan Food
Arepas are a popular Venezuelan street food. They are similar to a pita sandwich filled with anything from beans and cheese to meat or eggs.
Pabellon Criollo is a traditional bean and rice dish from Venezuela, with seasoned black beans, white rice, and tender, savory flank steak.
Bien Me Sabe, also known as Coconut Cream Cake, is moist, sweet and rich. It is similar to a tres leches cake.
Cocada is a delicious and refreshing coconut drink!
3. Learn about Angel Falls
Paradise Falls from Pixar’s “Up” was based on the real Angel Falls in Venezuela located in Canaima National Park. The waterfall is 3,212 feet high – over half a mile! – and has a plunge of 2,648 ft.

The Amazon Rainforest is home to some incredible animals including the Orinoco Crocodile (the longest crocodile in the world) the enormous Anaconda snake, and the capybara which is the biggest rodent in the world.
