Mr McGregor's Garden Charcuterie
Ingredients
- Carrots, cleaned and trimmed
- Radishes, cleaned and trimmed
- Green Beans, cleaned and trimmed
- Asparagus tips, cleaned
- Broccoli florets, cleaned
- Cauliflower florets, cleaned
- Cherry tomatoes, cleaned
- Baby cucumbers or cucumber spears, cleaned
- Snap peas, trimmed and cleaned
- Ranch dip
- Parsley for garnish
- Tray with 1-2″ tall sides
- Small bowl for dip
- Small flower pot
- Wooden craft stick
- Heavy Kraft paper, cut into a 3 x 4″ rectangle
- Black Sharpie
- Tape
Instructions
1. Make sign– Write “Mr. McGregor’s Garden” on the Kraft paper rectangle. Adhere to the wooden craft stick using tape. Set aside.
2. Prep tray – If desired, line the bottom of your tray with plastic wrap or parchment paper. Fill a small bowl with Ranch dip and set in the center. Lay a terra cotta flower pot on it’s side in the center.
3. Add veggies – Add a vegetable to the terra cotta pot and allow to spill out a bit. Add other veggies to the tray. Arrange them in sections to resemble a garden. You may want to set some of your veggies upright to create visual interest and texture. Add a sprig of parsley to the dip and place your Mr. McGregor’s Garden” sign to the veggie patch.
