Rustic Cheese & Fruit Board
Ingredients
- Variety of Cheeses & Meats: We served sliced summer sausage but any sliced or rolled meats would be nice. We love the beautiful color of blueberry goat cheese in fall. We also used a cookie cutter to cut leaf shapes out of sliced cheddar and Monterrey Jack.
- Breads & Crackers: Assorted crackers
- Fresh & Dried Fruits: We chose plums, red & green grapes, and dried apricots.
- Nuts: Any nuts would be delicious. We served roasted almonds and walnuts.
Instructions
1. Arrange your ingredients on one or more rustic wooden trays. Our rustic trays are hand made, but this set is similar and would work perfectly for this display.
2. Arranged meats and cheeses down the center of the board.
3. Set small bowls of nuts on either side of the meats and cheese.
4. Add large clusters of grapes opposite the nuts on either side of the meats and cheese. If desired, cut leaf shapes out of sliced cheeses and set them atop the grapes.
5. Arrange the mini pumpkins, assorted crackers, plums, and dried apricots around the perimeter of the board.
